Yellow Door Cafe- Green Goddess Smoothie

Spear-headed by an Albert Park local, Garth, Yellow Door Cafe has the solid energy of the family-oriented neighbourhood. Its popularity for families with toddlers is exemplified by the large outdoor chalk board, which is covered with children's artful creations. Its setting, especially the large, covered and grassed courtyard, makes for an ideal, sun-smart, retreat on those brazenly hot days in Melbourne. Clearly a place where the locals come to relax.

Yellow Door has a core menu for yummy breakkies and lunch fix, as well as a specials board, that is in line with the season's fresh food trend, such as potato leek hash, mexi-eggs and breakky sliders. The smoothies are blended front of house and only whole veggie leaves and fruits go in.

Yellow Door's Green Goddess Smoothie is a pure blend of nutritious greens like spinach, kale, alfalfa, kelp and bananas, chia seeds, apple juice, lemonjuice and passionfruit.  It is gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free!!!
Its coffee is kickin it 'Old School,' a dark roast blend from Griffiths Bros., one of the founding coffee roasters in Australia. Every couple of months, Yellow Door features single origin beans, which currently is a El-Salvadoran medium roast. Yellow Door is open 7 days a week from 7:00-17:00 for all day breakfast and lunch. Address: 119 Dundas Pl, Albert Park, Melbourne. Website:
